Harvest Assembly

It was lovely to be back together in the hall to celebrate Harvest. Emma, our visitor from The Trussell Trust commented on the childrens’ lovely singing which made Miss Jones very proud!

Year 3MT’s Freddy Fit Day

On Monday afternoon this week, we were really lucky to spend some time working with Freddy Fit. We had great fun challenging ourselves to hula hoop in lots of different ways.

Year 3’s Connecting Computers Lesson

This week as part of our Computing lesson we role played becoming a computer network in the classroom. This helped us to understand the different components of our school computer network and their functions.

Our network contained a switch, a server, a wireless access point, five desktop computers, two laptops and an iPad. We used skipping ropes to represent the network cables.

Rights Respecting Schools

The SSC Class are very proud of the fact that our school is a Rights Respecting school. Every September we revisit our class charter and decide whether our charter is correct or whether we want to make any changes.

The children understand what their rights are and can explain them to others. As a class they have decided that these are the most important rights to them:

The SSC class also spend a lot time discussing and debating the best ways in which they can respect their rights. The way in which they respect their rights is by taking responsibility for their actions. The SSC class decided that these are their whole class responsibilities:
