3S’s Skipping Session

Last week Class 3S had a wonderful skipping session with Kate the Skipping Lady!

We found some of the skipping moves tricky at first (especially The Pretzel!), but we used our resilience and perserverance and by the end we were all skipping superstars!

Year 1 – Naughty Bus

This week we were surprised by a delivery in year 1. It was a parcel with pictures of the Queen, Buckingham Palace, Tower Bridge and many more landmarks of London on it.
We were all so excited to find out what was inside, but before we did we all had a good guess what we thought it was. There were suggestions of The Queens Crown, toy models of London, samples of water from the River Thames and many more fantastic ideas.
When we opened the box we discovered that it was a London bus with a book called the Naughty Bus.
We enjoyed reading the book and finding out all the naughty things the Naughty Bus gets up to.
He has even started to be a little bit Naughty in our classroom. Year 1 need to keep a close eye on him.
