We are half way through the school year now! You will be receiving your child’s mid-year report during the first week back after the holidays. For children who are not on track with their learning, please spend 10-15 minutes each day (even in the holidays) either reading to them, or listening to them read. We know that reading is the key to being a successful learner, so the more your child is reading, the more words they learn and the wider their vocabulary will become.

This week has been Safer Internet Day where the theme has been ‘Together for a Better Internet’. Ask your child what they have learned through class and assembly time this week about keeping safe online.

On Wednesday we had a wonderful performance of ‘The Secret Garden’ from M&M Theatre Company in our school hall for KS2 – everyone really enjoyed the story. (This is another example of how school fund is spent).

We finish for half term today and return on Monday 24th February when we will be waving Year 6 off on their PGL adventure.

Have a lovely break.
