Lego League

The Year 5 ‘Lego Vale’ team took part in the City Shaper competition at The University of Manchester.

It consisted of four challenges:

  • professional robotics engineers interviewing the children about their robot programming
  • a team game to design an eco-school (in only 2 minutes!)
  • a presentation on a local traffic problem and their ideas to solve it
  • and a series of robot challenge games.

The team managed to score the highest number of points in the robot game earning them a trophy (made from Lego of course!).
