4M Non Desistas!

Bowker Vale, AD41.  The fearsome 4M legion prepare for battle armed with weaponary forged by their very own hands!  As you can see, we really got into the spirit of our Roman topic this week.  We’ve designed and made Roman shields, taken part in Gladiator roleplay and we’ve even decided on what our Latin class motto is.  In the end, we went for ‘4M Non Desistas’.  Can you find out what the English translation is?  Bonus points for anybody who also knows the Roman names for ‘shield’ and ‘sword’.
